Anyone tried the Sling TV trial? I don't really watch TV much, but thinking of adding the trial to watch the first few days of the tourney.

Didn't know if there was a catch or if its hard to drop?

The trial will turn into a membership after 7 days. I prepaid 3 months of it. So far so good. No lag problems and picture is crystal clear. Have more sports channels than I had with Cox.

ETA: If you don't cancel*

The buffering pauses on sling tv are pretty bad at peak times. I use watchESPN over Sling when possible, but I noticed that the NCAA watch live site didn't have Sling TV as a provider as of this morning.

If you have Comcast for internet, you may have access to watch espn and not realize it. My internet package includes "limited basic" cable or something. I don't use it at home, but it gives me access to watch espn.

I bought a Firestick for the extra TV but didn't opt for the $20 3 months, because I don't think I'll use it.

I would like to have it for 4 days, tho

I have Cox (internet only) and I already knew mine won't work beyond espn3 for watchespn, but it does seem to work for the NCAA march madness site. Glad you mentioned that.

EDIT: After reading their FAQ, I now think it won't work for most of the channels. Maybe just CBS. So complicated!

I watch all tv from my dvr besides sports. I take it I'd have to use Hulu for those or can I use a dvr with it?
