Although he is no longer living, everyone Ive ever known that has worked with or met Paul Walker, went out of their way to say how nice of a guy he was...

I've also heard that Tom Cruise is really nice. Super weird/crazy, but really nice.

I feel like Chris Pratt is the definite answer right now.

Seth Rogen I can't imagine taking anything too seriously to be a douche

Not the most famous..but I have been fortunate enough to meet Denis Leary and he could not have been funnier, nicer, etc..gave me and my buddies VIP access to his show.

And he can drink

Also...back in the 90s...Sandra Bullock..she hung out at this one bar in DC all the time and she was nice and not stuck up. Who knows if she has changed?

And one of my best friends met and drank with Christopher Walken and said he was the greatest guy...just chiled at a bar.

Gerard Butler is a good dude. He was filming Olympus has Fallen at the time I met him briefly at a Mexican joint in Shreveport.

Most actors that play protagonists are charismatic if they are well known, so of course they are going to seem like they are probably great guys in real life. The chameleons, character actors, or those known for brooding roles are less likely to seem like nice guys in real life...it is called transference as we transfer our image of their on-screen persona to their real life personalities.

Met up with my wife in an antique store in NOLA a few years ago. He and his wife were in there. Had a bunch of old surgical equipment that looked torturous. I was in scrubs as I'd just left work and he started joking with me about some of the stuff in there. I never acknowledged who he was before he struck up the convo, and he was a really nice guy.
