If we trade up to give up our 13th pick and another late round pick to get to the draft slot to get Amari Cooper. (6th-10th pick) The Saints would be taking one step back (Graham) and two steps forward on offense. They would now have a "go to" receiver in Cooper that rivals Graham but at the same time have locked in the best Center in the NFL. After all of that, they would still have another first round pick.

He'd definitely would be the WR most Saints fans would be content with. He's going to be a stud. Not sure he'll be there. Someone may reach early for him.

Problem is, how high do you have to go to get him (if that's who they really want) Going up to 7 would probably take both 3rd rounders. Going up to 10 would more than likely only cost a 5th.

With that said, I think they are stock piling picks so they can stock pile players. It's 2006 all over again, they want to get as much fresh blood in as possible.

I bet it would take both first rounders to get there

Going to ten will be much more than a fifth. Probably a third and is be fine with it to get cooper

No way it would take 2 first to go from 13 to 6-7. It would take #13 and 1-2 later round picks. Worse case they give #1 and 2 other picks. Would still leave them with a first round and 7 picks, Cooper is right there with Julio Jones.

The organization seems to be heading in a different direction going into this draft. I doubt they chase players this year instead they will let players come to them.

I in no way want Cooper. He is a good WR but I want a number 1.

Would rather see if Kevin White or Devante Parker fall to around 10.

Wouldn't cost as much to move up then if that's what we want.

I'm not sold on Parker, I think White is the best of the group and has the most upside. I also think Cooper will be a solid Pro-Bowler in his own right, just believe White will have a better career.

I agree, but I don't want to reach on any of them. If some of them fall to 10 or farther then I wouldn't mind it, but it would take too much to get Cooper

Anybody remember the press Cooper got at the Sugar Bowl when he talked about how much he hated New Orleans as a city? I'm sure he would sign the contract if drafted, but isn't that the type of attitude being purged on Airline Drive?

No he did not. He said Bourbon St. smells bad, which it does, becuase of nasty dirty tourists who piss where they drink (like Bama fans).

Dont think he'll be there with Oakland, the rams and the browns picking ahead of us but i definitely like the guy. One WR who can manage to always get open can make a huge difference to a team, just look at what beckham did with the giants

Lol no way Wed only give up a third to move up 8 spots. It's gonna take both of our firsts to get there

Yeah, that may have been a fantasy draft value converter now that I look at it.

I believe the Browns traded 2 first rounders to move up 1 spot last year so I don't think a first and 2 3rd's would get us up to 7

Giving up a #1 in the Top 15 (13th) and either a 3rd-7th has happened 19 times to move up into the top 10. So it is 100% possible.

It took an additional 5th to move up one spot to get Gilbert.

Buffalo traded up from 9th to 4th and it took an additional 1st and 4th in 2015.

In 2013:
Buffalo traded the 8th pick and 3rd round (71st) to STL for the 16th pick, 2nd round, 3rd round (78th), and 7th round.

If we're going from 13->8, expect to pay a 2nd or at least 2 3rds
