How good was this game? And is it worth the 34.99 price tag for the season 1 + 2 bundle? I'm in need of something to hold me over till SoD releases next month.

I've watched a few youtube videos and love the storyline attached to the game, but was wondering how entertaining you found the game play? It seems very "watch this video, press B, watch more video, pick a reply"

Go for it? Or just wait for SoD? Or should I go with Dying Light?

Go with Dying Light. It has been one of my favorite games of this generation.

The story isn't great, but the gameplay is fun as shite.

I love the Walking Dead games, but it really comes down to if you enjoy the Tell Tale game style.

Its one of my favorite games of the PS3/PS4/modern consoles era. $34.99 is totally worth it to me.

The bundle has been on sale several times for 13 bucks. Don't spend 35 unless you absolutely have to have it right now or else your world ends.

I cannot give a higher recommendation than for the Walking Dead Tell Tale games, they are fantastic. After I played Season 1 I immediately bought and played Season 2 then, when I finished that I said frick it and bought all the other Tell Tale games I could because they are that good.

The gameplay is definitely not "action" though so if that's what you're looking for just be aware. I found the stories amazing.

I got the entire Tell Tale collection (TWD, A Wolf Among Us, GOT,and Borderlands) for 41.99 when it went on sale for PS+ members. It even included the future season 1 episodes for GOT and Borderlands. Wait for a deal like that to come out again.

At $13 I'd buy it immediately. Still unsure on the $35 mark, but I'll probably just pull the trigger soon. Waiting for the deal makes more sense, but like I said I'm pretty much only getting it to play until next month.

Walking Dead and Dying Light are two totally different games. WD is a point and click, 3rd person storytelling type game.
Think watching a WD comic and getting to make a choice about how the story progresses occasionally.

DL is a first person game with primarily melee combat, rpg elements, and a sandbox style progression. You also have parkour abilties. The story is decent. Probably about 50 hours to complete main story and side quests. Think Far Cry with zombies.

I have both and enjoyed both.
