If the poster is creating a hypothetical, why do you object to his preference of keeping Noel and getting Payton? Arguing they were never going to take Noel is tilting at windmills. We already know that they traded the pick. Refuting a hypothetical preference by arguing that they would not have done it is silly. We already know what they did.

Im arguing with him saying "keep Noel". WE never had Noel. WE never drafted Noel. Philly did. It just looked like we did from the outside.

It's a hypothetical. It didn't happen so of course it didn't happen. You arguing that it wouldn't have happened is, again, tilting at wind mills. We know exactly what happened. His preference was to draft Nerlens and take Payton. Not hard to understand.
