Every problem with the football program....

has now been solved. Trust me on this one. College football is primarily based on successful recruiting and talent evaluation...this has always been proven true. And even though it has taken LM longer than it should have, I'm now giving him the credit for making the right moves in this regards. I've always liked LM, but now I respect him more as a man and a coach. We now have one of the best recruiting staffs in the nation. Problem solved!

Yeah, we've really sucked in recruiting until this year.

Recruiting has failed primarily in the QB department, but it has not been limited to that position...just go back and look at the DT play for the last few years...not great...jmho

But you're acting like the staff just didn't know what it was doing. Even the bad QBs we've brought it were pretty highly recruited. Same goes for the DTs. Anthony Jennings, for example, had offers from 29 D-1 schools including Bama, Arkansas, Clemson, UGA, State, Ole Miss, v-Tech, WVU & Wisconsin. Are you saying everyone is a shitty talent evaluator?

Actually DT recruiting has been good, many players haven't panned out. Lots of 4 star types that haven't done a lick.
Perhaps it was the DL coach not the recruiting for DTs that was the problem.

know you're being sarcastic but recruiting has hit another level lately and recruiting is the biggest part of being a great college coach. If you doubt that just look to the midget to the east for proof.

NOT TRUE.
We have 3 scholarship QB's on the roster: Anthony Jennings (jr), Brandon Harris (so), and Justin McMillan (fr) . In addition we probably have some non scholarship QB's on the roster as well. Not sure who they are as I did not look it up.
Jake Clise (RSFR)
Brad Kragthorpe (JR)
Jared Foster (JR)
WE have quite a few QB's on the roster. Six in total by my count.

I don't understand why people say we were so bad at recruiting? we consistently pull top 10 recruiting classes with top 5 classes sprinkled in there. If by solved maybe you mean by the new energy and personality to the coaching staff in Orgeron and Steele than yeah MAYBE our 8-5 seasons will be a thing of the past, only time will tell. Talent has never been the problem bud.

All I'm saying is that with the Louisiana talent, we should have been better...especially at QB, LB, DL...we haven't been as deep as we should have been...NOW, I truly believe nothing but good things are coming for the Tigers! We are recruiting at a national level as never before...all good!
