I thought so too. You can tell Jost and Che took some cues from some of Seth's old bits to help them out, but I thought this was the best rapport they've had yet.

They need to get more Australian hosts if that's all it takes to get Kate McKinnon this much air time. Not only is her accent perfect, she's pretty much the funniest and most creative person on the show.
Loved the AMEX commercial: "I bounced around Hollywood for days."
Iggy Azalea skit was money too.

Weekend Update was hilarious, except for Leslie Jones of course, who still has never made me smile. We get it. She's a big bitch, and she has crazy eyes.

I find SNL has mostly been meh lately.. And yea Leslie Jones is terrible.

this was the first time leslie made me laugh, but it was a very NYC-centric bit, so i understand why people outside the area would hate it. but she was so spot on about the cold and white women in NY

I don't get all the Kate McKinnon love. I find it hard to watch sketches she's in sometimes and nothing she does is funny. This season has been pretty good but last night was one of the worst episodes I've ever seen.

Props to Chris Hemsworth. He gave more of an effort than 75% of this year's guest hosts and you could tell he was very game and came off extremely likable.

Actually thought it was a good episode. Hemsworth was a terrific host with a great sense of humor.
And, btw, McKinnon, Bayer, Strong and and Thompson are pretty consistently solid performers. I've been watching SNL since the beginning and have some true shite shows, as well as some great ones. This one was very decent.
