MBP & I wanted chargrilled oysters this evening. But then I realized neither Parrains or Mike Andersons have half off on Fridays (MA has 1/2 off on Sunday)

Any suggestions for a good happy hour spot?

Mid City:
Superior 2-4-1 ritas and Fleur De Lis for dinner.

Downtown:
Capital City Grill downtown has some nice food/drink specials:

Jolie Pearl does too.

Flemings has a good happy hour around Corporate.

Chimes has half off raw oysters till 7 and $1 off pints.

Galatoire's $5 small plates and drinks.

Flemings $6 apps, drinks, and the Prime burger.

Best two as far as what you get, the quality, and the people there.

Still wouldn't pay it. Last couple of times I went the oysters were the size of a plate. Way too big for raw oysters imo.

They were way too big and sloppy. I like raw oysters that fit onto a cracker and no bigger. These were like three to four times the size of a cracker and you actually had to bite it two or three times to actually eat them.
