IMO the most underrated city in Louisiana is whichever gets the most overrated votes on here. That is obviously the one that warrants the most hate from posters. Haters gonna hate so I'll tally it up later and see who the winner is.

Ah the daily shite on New Orleans and baton rouge thread.

For real though, the north shore is underrated. I'm a big fan. Slidell excluded.

Who the frick is spending time rating Thibodaux so much that's it's over rated. You may not like it but that's like your opinion man.

Over = Baton Rouge - if you don't go to LSU or post grad ties to the city why the hell are you living there?

Under = Mandeville. Although 9 out of 10 people will rank Mandy at the top where it deserves so not too overrated at the end of the day.

Covington was much nicer when it was a cow/farming town. Lot's of cool history, too.

I don't get how the Northshore (Covington/Mandeville/Madisonville) is underrated.

I think its widely accepted as being one of the nicest places to live in the state with nice neighborhoods and great public schools.

I alway think it's funny when people list positive qualities of a city and one of the top things is that it close to cities that have more to offer

This. I once overheard a converstion where some woman was going on and on and on about the virtues of New Orleans and how wonderful it is only for her to tell the other person that she lived in Mandeville. If NOLA is so wonderful, then move your arse back to the other side of the lake!
