Thinking about purchasing a system and I'm looking for recommendations. Would like 3 or 4 room set up, and prefer wireless.

TIA.

What number of sources and discrete zones would you like? What are those sources? How many sources across the zones do you want to simultaneously play? What kind of listening do you want (Club-level booming bass, chamber music for parties, audiophile grade stereo sound)? What do you want wireless- the transfer from sources to speakers (Standalone speakers, amps with integrated receivers, something else?)?

Try giving more detail. Bore us with the amount. Otherwise, you're not going to get particularly helpful responses.

Sonos is pretty much what you've described you're looking for. Wireless, good sound quality, phone app is great, only downside is it's a little pricey.

+1 for Sonos. I've talked about my system extensively on here, search for my other posts.

Gaston's answer to everything .. Just turn your 2 speaker setup really really loud.

Single zone 2.0>>>>everything else

I'd also add to the Sonos recommendations. I'd look into getting a Play 5 for a larger room or sets of Play 1's depending on room size.
