False. I want OKC to make the playoffs because they are capable of beating the Warriors in a 7 game series, and I don't believe we are. And I think we can beat OKC.

Oh I completely agree... But you've gotta find a more creative way to get him the ball in that situation. I mean there was what, 2.4seconds left (?) and Westbrook get the ball near half court , behind the time line and on the sideline because all he did was run to the guy throwing it in... If he didn't step out and wasn't double teamed he still would have had trouble getting a shot off with that little of time left on the clock considering where he was at when he got the ball.

All of this. Having Westbrook sprint to sideline to get the ball with 2.4 seconds left is like the worst possible scenario.

If durant is back at 100% they're the best team in the conference IMO. I'd rather play the Warriors.

For me, ranking from teams I'd like to play to teams I'd hate to play:

1. Mavs
2. Blazers
3. Spurs
4. Grizz
----------
5. Clips
6. GWS
7. OKC

Cutoff is at the line. Above the line I favor HOU to win the series, below the line I'd say HOU prob loses that series.

I just think matchup wise, Houston fits against OKC much better than Golden State. Brooks gives us a chance with his terrible coaching. If Kerr was coaching both teams, OKC would be the better team clearly.

Oh Brooks forced Westbrook to go 1-4 fg and 1-2 from the line at the end of the game?

Yeah. I just decided that Brooks was a garbage basketball coach tonight. Good call.

There was a OKC sports director something or other on the Tbob Hebert show here a couple days ago who said that Brooks isn't on the hot seat at all. And that local media and the fans think he's doing a great job and it's only the national guys that give him any heat...Wonder what's up with that..

OKC needs Adams back badly for defensive purposes. Kanter is a terrible defender

The Thunder have two of the Top 5 players in the league. If both are healthy, and they strike out this year and next, I seriously doubt that Brooks will still be coaching there. They don't even run an offense. It's just painful to watch.

Healthy, I don't fear the Clips. They have had our number in the past but we have never had a bench this good. I'd favor us to win. I want nothing to do with the Warriors and I really don't want to play Portland again.

Players like Westbrook and Durant have spent their entire career with the ball in their hands. Neither one of them moves off ball that much in the half court. They just take turns being the guy. Its hard to have 2 of those guys on the same team. Shaq and Kobe managed because their games were complimentary. All these 2 really do for each other is avoid drawing the other teams ace defender and loosen up the defense in general.

Brooks is kind of screwed. One of them needs to be the guy while the other adjusts to their game. It doesn't seem like that was ever on the table.

Eta: I'm not saying he's a good coach. I just think his options were limited from day one. That inbound play was stupid. Give Westbrook a better chance sprinting him past half court and letting him dribble up to stop and pop a 35 footer.

Yea I was tempted to move Portland down a couple spots, but I feel like HOU has improved more than POR has from last year to this one. Jones has gotten much stronger and we have more guys to throw at Aldridge this year than last year. That would be a great series no doubt.

My opinion on Lillard has gone down dramatically this season. It's not his struggling shooting, it's that he forces too many bad shots, takes too many 3s, doesn't create easy shots for his teammates, and is not too good defensively. He is still good, but definitely not top ten like I thought earlier.

Yeah. It definitely isn't the perfect balance, but I think some coaches could manage it better.

Lillard's stock went through the roof after playing 6 nationally televised games against a hurt Beverley and Jeremy Lin.

Then he got off to a crazy start full of clutch moments. The guy has definitely been in a funk lately though. Portland needs him to figure it out. Bad memories if that series last year though when Lillard and Aldridge looked like two of the best players in the league. They murdered us.
