Edwards is another off the top of my head I'd have to go back and look at the roster.

Hate to break it to ya bro, but there's a legit chance that every western conference team loses in the first round. I don't think anybody would argue that.

the hell? What western conference team is a lock to win in the first round?

What if these are the matchups:

WHAT TEAM DOESNT HAVE A LEGIT CHANCE OF LOSING:

OKC v GSW
MEM v SAS
HOU v LAC
DAL v POR

You don't believe that? Every single team in the West has a really good chance of being bounced in the 1st. I mean if San Antonio or OKC win a playoff series as a 7 or 8 seed, would it shock anyone? Would it shock anyone if either of those teams made the finals?

On this one particular issue, Boom is right. Every series in the West is basically a pick 'em.

I just skimmed through the article and it's basically calling them the bad boys because of their offense, patrick beverley being a nuisance, and no one liking Dwight Howard.

The article says they are the new "bad boys" because they used a different style then other teams. Except now, they are the "stat boys". Not really the same thing as calling them tough and dirty players.

Makes sense.

Beverley is the only guy on that team who I would consider a tough player. He's a good defender and plays a little dirty. No one else on that team is like that.

Idk man. I'm not a Rockets fan, but Brewer, D-Mo, T Jones all get down and dirty.

Only "soft" guys Smith, Harden, and Howard. Harden is doing enough this year to shake that perception.

Ariza is like that. I've always felt that way about Harden, too. Not as a defender, but just being a bull and not backing down from anyone, going back to getting in Kobe's shite in the playoffs when he was in OKC. I said back then that I thought he was that team's alpha. There were times when Westbrook and Durant got into it but he always seemed to listen to Harden. I think that, more than anything, is what OKC lost when they traded James. He was their mouthpiece.

No...every series in the West is not a 50/50 proposition. That's just ridiculous.
