Job interviews in uniform or scrubs? I have 2 coming up. One is on the way to work with no time to change. So I plan on a nice pressed set of scrubs fresh shave and haircut.

Second interview will be held during a day off, so slacks and a button up are going to be worn for that.

Positions applied for are not management. If so obviously slacks would be minimum. With jacket and tie a possibility.

Thought?

Scrubs are fine if you have to work that day. If it is a day off then you are fine with just a nice shirt and slacks. I wore a coat and tie for my first job interview out of school but i've never seen a person other than me wear one for a staff nurse interview.

Sounds like you got it all figured out based on time constraints.

From your knowledge, what do folks in respiratory care pull down in salary?

I made 80 k last year, but I work almost every night. Lowest I've made is around 50 k.

Eta- I interviewed for my first job in nice clothes. Next 2 jobs I picked up basically called me to apply, and I was in scrubs both times.

What field are you in?

We saw one guy get a tour after his interview. He was in a suit and tie. We all chuckled.

If I were interviewing for a management position? No brainer.

Just stuck really. My job does not give me any wiggle room, and it is 9-5. If I go to current job on shirt and tie and change, everyone will know what's up.

I don't work in healthcare but couldn't fathom interviewing in scrubs

Youre doing something wrong my baw

Eta: I interviewed in scrubs when I was working nights and had an interview at 8am the next morning. I've never not gotten a job that I interviewed for fwiw. 90% of an interview is who referred you anyway.

Scowls, tears, and possible repercussions from this play. Hence the furious search for a new gig.

Sounds like a good plan. I'd probably let them I have to go to work is why I'm wearing scrubs

Good Luck
