Hey me and Paul both agree on something. And i was chastised for my thoughts on Norman. Bow down you peasants

Damn. Barely even March and Mainieri already dusted the keys off to the bus he drives over players.

I don't like it, but I am not sure it's throwing under the bus. I just don't understand what is to gain from such comments.

Much like CLM gets ripped for some of his coaching decisions, which to fans seem to based on game performances, it's safe to say that both have not performed all that well in practice, either. NO coach in any sport looks at only a few plays in a game & then makes a decision to play or to not play a player. And it's highly doubtful that this decision was announced through the press only/first. I am sure CPM sat both players down & explained his decision to them face to face. And Skip was off the charts at times in the way he talked to his players. Yet, they all love him now. Pretty much says it all. These are college kids, not 12 yr olds.

As a fan can I go the advocate and discuss bluntly how much of a fricktard PM was with Moore last year?

Do yall honestly not see the difference between the locker room and the media? I dont want him to sugar coat shite to the actual players. But to the media is different

Also, can someone please link these Saban moments. Often he will talk about the mistakes of the team, but I dont see him naming individual players to the media like PM does quite frequently

I appreciate his bluntness. Kids these days get everything sugar coated and we all see how that turns out. These kids have scholarships and he is cut and dry about his expectations.

some of you really seem to be missing the point. No one is arguing over him making changes where he sees fit. Its more about how he handles it and seems to have double standards.

They're not precious little babies. They need to know the truth on how the coach feels and what they need to do to improve.
Coach Mainieri, please don't talk bad to the PLB's, you're going to hurt the feelings of all the Rant non-athletes that have never had a coach before and don't understand how playing sports works.

That mean LSU baseball coach says mean things to his players. LSU Worshippers and Idolizers don't like it one bit. Makes them want to

I don't mind the blunt attitude.

I do mind the double standards on players. I hope Zardon hasn't lost 3rd base yet. Seems like he'll get some more opportunities there. But I think he can also work at first.

1. Kids are grown. . . (thank God)
2. Yep, played ball, score was kept and when needed coach chewed their arse ..... but not in public.
3. Yes, these guys are "men" playing for a big time program and should held accountable for their on/off the field performance.
3. Give em hell, chew their arse, in the office, in the locker room, not in the local press.

???? So, when your child needs correcting . . . you walk him out to the side walk and paddle his little fanny for all the neighborhood to see ????
