Covington doctor shot and killed by wife

A woman shot and killed her husband Sunday morning in Folsom, according to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office.
The incident happened at about 3 a.m.
Kacie Breen admitted to responding deputies that she shot her husband, Covington physician Dr. Wayne Breen, after the two got into an altercation, said Capt. George Bonnett, a spokesman for the sheriff's office.

The couple had an argument over personal issues in their relationship, which escalated into a physical altercation, ending with Breen’s wife shooting him, investigators said.
“The couple had a history of domestic issues, including reported physical violence committed by Mr. Breen,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. “In 2012, Mrs. Breen obtained a restraining order against him; that order has since expired.”

i went to elementary/high school with one of the sons. that is such a tragedy for the family. definitely keeping all of them in my prayers. regardless of the circumstances the kids now how to deal with this reality and it's awful
