This team is peaking at the right time.

In college basketball it's all about getting hot at the right time. Just look at Uconn last year. This team is hot and will carry this momentum into March. Don't let the bad losses fool you this team can play with the best of them. I expect a sweet 16 appearance this year.

Doesn't matter whether the team "can" do it. They actually have to do it. And they'll have to do it game after game consecutively.

If only they didn't go all broke-dick in three-four critical SEC matchups they wouldn't be floating on the outside of "the bubble." But they did, so we have to pray for a strong showing in the SEC Championship to make the tourney.

LSU is squarely in the NCAAT right now.
LSU is 5-2 in it's last 7 games (since the starting lineup change) with one loss vs. undefeated UK by 2 points, the other loss a 6 pointer @TAMU (RPI 33), with double digit wins against Ole Miss, Tenn, AU, Bama and a 7 point win over UF.

This team hasn't fell off the hill in 7 games. Since the Bama game. This team is totally different. 5 blow out wins. 1- 2 point loss to the best team in the country. And a 6 point loss to the 32 ranked A&M when we choked down the stretch.
Keep playing sound ball. Wouldn't be shocked to make sweet 16.

This team is legit now. The Mizzou, MSU and AU losses are distant memories. This team is making the dance and could be a force if it all falls into place. Don't be THAT guy, you're better than that, choo-choo!

Definitely should make the tournament, but that Missouri game is the only loss that really bothers me. MSU and Auburn just played their absolute A games to pull those ones out. Missouri was an awful team that played a bad game, no excuse on that one.

Depends on the draw and continued progression of the team. Avoid UK and UVA - likely penned into Final Four - and it's an open range.
