yall wish it was old. Or would get old. Not many teams refuse a bowl game and sit home because they are scared of getting beat by the opponent. Especially teams that don't really go to bowls much in the first place. That shite is smack talk fodder from here on out. But back to the bball game. what bowl game did NLU go to this year? I agree its funny that we declined a bowl invite two years ago is funny, but for an NLU fan to talk crap is just funny

I'd love to see them play again. That was a great NIT game last season, although I was disappointed in the outcome.
Hopefully we'll both be dancing this season. The Gaels are 23-6 (16-2) with two regular season games left this weekend. We've earned the #1 seed in the MAAC Tourney again. But unlike in 2012, there will be no At-Large for Iona this year. We need to win 3 in Albany next Saturday, Sunday and Monday to get to the NCAAs.
If you're not doing anything tomorrow night at 7:00pm eastern, tune into ESPN2 for the Manhattan/Iona game. As the papers in NYC say, it's the best rivalry college basketball game in NYC.
Best of luck to La. Tech in the post season.

That was my first Tech basketball game since I graduated. I was pretty impressed with the crowd, a lot better than it used to be.
