As always in these threads, I'll submit Cadence. It's frickin awesome, and most people have never heard of it even though it has Charlie Sheen, Martin Sheen, and Lawrence Fishburne.

I may be mistaken, but it did not seem like it was when it came out. But I will defer - one of my favorites of all time.

So underrated. It's got the Estevez brothers plus Keith David. Repo Man is another underrated movie that is fantastic, also featuring Emilioooooo. For Charlie Sheen, The Arrival was a solid film despite the 90's cheesiness.

I did not want that movie to end, Jude Law was awesome in it. I would add Existenz to the list also.

For comedies, I nominate The Promotion. As someone who worked at Wally World for a couple of years, that movie was spot on. Stifler was great in it, as was John C. Reilly despite his iffy Canadian accent.

For sci-fi, I would go with THX 1138. It's overshadowed by George Lucas' Star Wars/post SW success and by American Graffiti but I feel like it is a great film on its own. Good performances by Robert Duvall and Donald Pleasance, and the best one and done acting performance in history by Maggie McOmie (who had some solid ginger tits). Super clean looking sci-fi style.

Last movie would be Pi. I believe it's a much better movie than Requiem for a Dream (not taking anything away from that movie). The best directorial debut I can think of besides Duncan Jones and Moon.

assassination of jesse james- I've said it a few times in a few threads, this has to be the most underrated movie of all time. its absolutely beautiful and mesmerizing.
Wow agreed 100%. It's one of my all time favorite movies and I can only watch it with a couple people because most say it's too slow which I can understand. I just love the way it was filmed and the story really keeps me interested.
