What would yall consider the best long term oil stock right now? Conoco Philips, Chevron, Exxon Mobile?

Best meaning what? Best chance to increase in value? Best return?

Not to sure on individual stock, but as for as funds and ETFs go XLE and VDE are very oversold. I think will they be higher long term.

I guess to be clearer, best as far as return on your money long term.

If you're looking for best upside...maybe one of the refiners or smaller companies?

Stay away from PBR at all cost right now. Moody's just downgraded to junk and there are rumors that the debt level is really shockingly much higher (170 billion) than what is public after the recent scandals came to light. Brazil pre salt is a higher cost place to operate also. Personally I'd wait until Q2 or Q3 as there is more pain to come for the oil stocks on the E a& P side and I'd be tempted to go with an integrated with better growth prospects.

I like Sgy, wti, and rds/a
And like the guy said above steer clear of pbr....I avoid American companies with accounting issues at all cost, foreign companies with accounting issues..no way in hell.
