Rory struggles with the wind because of his high ball flight. Once the wind died down he was able to play a little but better.

Rory should not struggle with wind at all. He did fine at Hoylake last year. And has grown up with it his whole life.
But the forced carries at PGA national make it a pretty rough course in wind.

Remember, the wind was wayyy down at Hoy Lake last year. At least, as far as I remember.
