"comfortably" in since they are no longer on the "Last Four Byes" list.

First of all, take note of the bracket matrix. LSU is not included in the tournament AT ALL, in some of the systems. 9, 10, 12, and some NOT AT ALL.

LSU is OUT in some columns. You see, not rated. That means, excluded from the competition.

they will be judged against ALL the other teams in the US of A.
if some other other teams rated 40 to 55 on the S curve go on a tear, and win 6 in a row now, LSU better win a few too.

Beat Arkansas and then you can talk about "comfortably in".

Lol

One of the "systems" that has LSU out has Florida in. So i think we can safely assume that several of these are the most accurate

I'mma go with lunardi in that if it ended today, we are comfortably in.

Obviously there are still games to play that can change things though

LSU has a average seed of 9.9 (all of the 11s and most of the 12 seeds are "at larges" or LSU is above about 8 teams or so. We are in 89 of the 96 brackets, some of which probably haven't been updated since the last 1-2 wins.

LSU is "in comfortably" today but as post people suggest need to win 2 more games this year or else have a lot to worry about.

If selection Sunday was today, I would have 0 worry about getting in. Absolutely none.

The idea on the bracket matrix isn't to judge based off the outliers. The whole purpose of looking at nearly 100 brackets is to use the philosophy that a group knows better than an individual.

The 10 seed where it projects LSU using the average is much more important than the 7 outliers that don't include LSU.

Good information is important. Interpreting that information is just as important.

Dead on man. It kills me how people can take information that seems to paint a clear picture and twist it to fit their point of view just so they can be right. Lunardi having us out of the first four byes means there are 8 to 11 bubble teams in the tournament closer to the cut line then us.

Arkansas is the least concern right now.

Beating Ole Miss and Tenn along with UK beating UGA are the important factors. If this happens, I believe 99% LSU is in.

Worst case for LSU right now would be losing to Ole Miss and UGA beating UK. That would squarely put LSU as probably 6th best in SEC in committee eyes.

Dude has hair issues but his track record is undeniable.

Just win 2 games and I think we're ok. Now with this team, that's not a given, but......

Got to win 3 more games to get in IMO.
Win 2 regular season games and 1 SECT game
-or-
Win 1 regular season game and 2 SECT games
-or-
Win 3 regular season games and don't even worry about SECT
