Speak for yourself. I do this every time I pass an ant pile. It's good for those little shits to know who's running things.

Do you believe there are other intelligent life forms out there?
Absolutely

More intelligent than us?
Some of them probably are.
quote:
Maybe they have visited our planet before? Hundreds or even thousands of years ago?
Doubtful.
quote:
Maybe they even monitor our planet right now, and keep tabs on what we are doing.
Maybe they even manipulate how our planet is run. They have control over how things work here.
Nah.

Believing means you have no basis of knowledge. Faith is unnecessary if you choose to study the subject, examine what is there and draw a rational conclusion.

this makes the most sense to me. due to the combination of the likely short life-span (relative to the age of the universe) of a civilization and vastness of space it is unlikely intelligent civilizations have ever met.
so i'm sure that more intelligent life forms have likely existed, and maybe even exist now, but they are most likely far as frick away.
also, if a civilization were intelligent enough to survive for any substantial length of time and efficiently travel the universe, wtf would they want to do with us?

almost certainly

probably not

its a 100% certainty.
some like us.
some smarter
some not.
there are so many planets in space, its a 100% certainty.
Dr Alan Hynek, prof of astronomy from Northwestern U was hired by the USAF to debunk. After 15 years of it, he reported there are two races visiting the USA. went on local TV in Chicago and showed the photos he took of places where people reported spaceships, and aliens. He said, you can't debunk this stuff. its not reflections.

just to complicate the question with facts,
there are lots of spectra of light not visible to the human eye.
entities could exist in vibratory "levels" that we can't even see.
But as for the spectrum we see, yes, that too.
so both. humanly visible spectra and not humanly visible spectra.

Depends. More intelligent than the rant sure, there probably isn't life out there more intelligent than the average person though

I think there is a high probability that life exists elsewhere in the universe given its almost incomprehensibly vast size. However, whether or not that life is intelligent is another matter - as in able to make tools, etc. We might be the most advanced species in the universe. Scientists do not really know how intelligent life actually began on earth, so we might be the result of a series of events that are so improbable that the chances are 1 in however many habitable planets there are in the universe. Or there might be highly advanced Star Wars-like galactic civilizations. We will never find out in our life time. The whole of human existence is a microscopic blink of an eye next to the age of the universe. The probability of alien life contacting us or vice versa even in the next 1 million years seems very small. It might take longer than that to travel from the nearest intelligent life even going at the speed of light.

I don't think so, hoss, on that certainty level. Slow your roll.

I forget which scientist said this but it's always stuck with me
We share what? 98% of our DNA with monkeys, imagine the species that is 2% the other way to us
(*not exact quote)
They would want nothing to do with such a group of idiots

Gotta be. If for no other reason than this planet is populated primarily by fricking retards.
