It really was a great finale. It's crazy how the entire series only had 2-3 filler/useless episodes.

I disagree. I wasn't a fan of the nazis, but the thing that made the show for me was their willingness to kill off a big character. Tuco, Gus, Mike, Hank. Bam!

Carson, you're just upset that someone on here is getting something blown and it's not you.

Was neither filler nor useless. I'm sorry that you aren't capable of understanding that episode for what it was intended as.

I hated to see it end, but

1. Crazed Jessie speeding off to who knows where;
2. Money taken care of for Jr. with his rich "friends" via two "hit men"
3. His demise in the lab
4. His eliminating the loose ends

were brilliant.

Did Walt die? He collapses with his eyes still open, but we don't know for certain that he is dead.

I wonder how long it will be until Jessie is captured by the police. He was still a fugitive was he not?

I really didn't like the final episode at all. Like you, I was wondering how they'd do a full season post-Gus. From the time Hank found out to the 2nd to the last episode was some great TV. But I hated how the finale / the ending of Walt was in confrontation with a group of guys that really weren't that important in the overall show, and came into it pretty late.

i thought the moment hank found out until the final scene in the last episode was the high point of the whole series. I know everyone here creams over mike and gus as the greatest characters and storylines, but I really thought part 2 of season 5 was the show was at its absolute.

c'mon man, did you want the final scene to be of his funeral to confirm it? i kind of wanted to see walt do a little blue magic before he died.

A bit off topic, but I just read it on reddit and thought it was interesting that through all six seasons Walt Jr. and Jesse never met. The closest they came was when Walt calls him Jesse while he's fricked up.

Boring is a fair assessment of it. I'll give it that. But it was far from filler or useless.
