So many ppl saying they have none bc they can't find it, or they have 10s of thousands. I never see a middle ground

I have ~32,000rds. Had to cut back shooting in the past year with replenishing being a little harder

People can't find .22 ammo because people like you hoard 10's of thousands of rounds. For what reason?

ETA: I have probably around 500rds and that number is about to start dropping fast

I saw buckets of bullets and the bricks of bullets at walmart this week. They are not hard to find and at a decent price.

we shot 15,000 rounds in 2014 and that was scaling it back. I'd like to have more than 1 year's worth of shooting on hand for situations like many people find themselves in today

Probably ~430. Bought a 500 round brick a while back. I just don't go through that much to warrant buying 10,000 rounds. I mean, you avg just under 30 rounds a day for a year.

I have approximately 25K rounds. And your statement is BS. I've been buying this stuff slowly since the late 90s. I haven't bought more than a brick in over 3 years, well before Newtown / Sandy Hook happened.

Don't hate on people who saw what was coming and decided to lay in a decent supply while the price was cheap. I'm not a neckbearder, my supply is to ensure I have enough ammo for my own use.

I've got about 10k rounds today. I may stock up 5k or so more and then start stocking 9mm.

I'm mostly thinking about having ammo for my son in a few years when he will be able to shoot. I have zero confidence in our country going forward. After seeing the loons elect Obama not only once, but twice, my concern is that the next one will go after us in a hard way. They will never outlaw guns, but making ammo scarce is their next best thing.

No the statement is not BS. The shortage of .22 rimfire ammo is completely on the shoulders of the consumers. The rimfire manufactures are producing everything that they can. As soon as the ammo hits a shelf the consumers buy it up. Some of the consumers are buying it to resell, some are buying it to add to their 30k round count at the house and some are buying it because they want to go shoot. If no one bought a single round of .22 for a month the shelves will fill up again and the prices might go back to a few years ago. As long as the ammo is bought up the second it hits the shelf we will have this problem. There is not enough .22 ammo manufactured everyday to supply 100-500 rounds to a third of the gun owners in this country.

How about instead of buying up 20k-30k of rimfire ammo "incase the gov't takes away the ammo". You put a few bucks towards the NRA or some other gun rights organization. If it gets to the point where the gov't makes rimfire ammo illegal for some god forsaken reason it is already to late my friend. We have lost.

Holy mother of frick

In what lifetime would you need thirty two thousand rounds of .22 ammo?

You won't. You won't shoot it. Its going to rot away in your closet while you guard it from your pillow case fort with a dog food bowl helmet and some type of 300 blackout AR with some lights and shite on it. Congratulations. You have all the boolits!!!!!!!!

I'm glad I'm not as paranoid as you bastards. I have about a thousand rounds I guess. It'll probably be a year or more before I need any more.
