Seems like the current staff has a more national outlook for recruiting and less tolerant for in-state recruits to play games and to make up their minds. Coach oeux's voice mail seems to set that tone,

Like Corey Webster, Laron Landry, Mo Claiborne, Tyrann Mathieu, Tre White, Eric Reid, Bradon Taylor, Tharold Simon, etc.
Notice how I said most... And the state of Louisiana puts out a lot of quality DBs each and every year. We recruit really really well in our own state and typically get those players.
Have we done a good job and getting some out of state players that are good as well? Of course. But most of them are in state players.
Like Corey Webster, Laron Landry, Mo Claiborne, Tyrann Mathieu, Tre White, Eric Reid, Bradon Taylor, Tharold Simon, etc.

If wanted to go to LSU and I was offered, I would accept right away. LSU recruiting seems to be stronger than ever.

The issue is here, if you sit back on an offer, if someone better comes along, you may miss out. You always want the Louisiana kids, but this year in particular, with Smith now on board and the fact we are looking hard at a few Texas DB's, we could be filled up quickly.
