If you've got game and we offer u consider it an honor. If u decide to go somewhere else then best of luck to u. We don't just recruit
LA. We recruit nationally. And we get the best in the country!! We will fill your spot in a hurry!!! LSU=DBU!!!

I just hope Mullens and Fulton get on board sooner rather than later.

That's not just for DBs. An LSU offer is a big deal for any in state kid.

Just wonder if a kid like Russell Gage every gets on the field. He was a kid we took only AFTER the 5 for 5 debacle

Bro Gage played this year... Once he gets some muscle packed on he will be fine. He's an awesome athlete. I think he will be an good off the edge nickel guy like Thomas was before he got hurt this year.

this will get very interesting. smith said he was recruiting ladler to LSU. mullen and fulton are automatic takes. that's 4. lewis or Anderson may be out of luck if they don't commit soon.

So it's an offer if we offer an in state kid? But nobody else? Right... Right.

I will say this... #1 CB just committed to us. We have #3 and #4 in state. And we are the favorites to land #5. Thats insane. We might have to turn down some really good DBs.

Exactly.... I said this a while back and now that we have added coach O and Steel it will free up others to recruit nationally, not that we haven't been but it's going to another level now and it's how it should be, no more of La. recruits playing with LSU if you aren't sure that's fine but that also means LSU will continue to recruit guys just as good or better in some cases. I love it and these guys need to start considering an LSU instate offer as a once in a lifetime chance to play by your family and for the GREAT state of Louisiana! LSU is a top 5 program if not top 3. QB depth is getting better and all it will take is for one of them to take over and shine for everyone to jump on board and trust our dang coaches! I understand some of the mistrust but most is absurd, these coaches all have proven track records and most at a very high level. DBU is in good hands and I just can't wait to see what these guys will do with our front 7?!?! GT

I understand what everyone is saying and I agree for the most part but we can't afford to get a guy like smith and then lose a guy like fulton (just as an example). if fulton were to go to aTm then on a relative basis, aTm wins.

so if it came to it, what is best for LSU. Smith to LSU and Fulton to aTm or fulton to LSU, SMITH TO FSU and aTm out of luck.

You can't recruit like that. You go after best available. ALL THE TIME.

One of the best posts I've seen on here in a while! Success breeds success. All we need is Harris or Jennings to show some marked improvement and the only recruiting weakness will then become a strength. Offensive Line has already turned around since Grimes came on board and will be bolstered even more when Lael goes in Round 1 of the draft this year and Vadal and Hawkins are high round picks next year.

Everyone has a place to,play and that's what's important.if everyone thinks alike damm what a world we would live in . Maybe some kids want to enjoy the recruiting process does that mean they're anti LSU. Sometimes people amaze me .

And you do realize that most of the players that helped us become "DBU" were in state guys...

I'll never understand why some people hold in state guys to a different standard and expect them to commit early just because they are from the state or we will fill their spot... Don't get it.
