This year do they have the greatest high school football team ever...
4 Five stars, 5 Four stars, and 3 Three stars.

Muhammad Ali. Hands down.
IMG pretty good too, though.

Can someone explain how this school is set up, an why there not eligible too compete in Florida highschool playoffs? I was watching them play Trinity one night an I heard the commentator say this, it seems harsh an worthless too go undefeated all season then can't play in playoffs.

From what it appears, img is where you go to get professional training while still in high school.
These kids go to class for a few hours a day, then train at their respective sport for 8-10 hours daily.
Most student athletes are paying ~80k per semester. It appears that they have recruited the football team for the most part, and are letting the kids get this exceptional training at little or no cost.
I'm pretty sure the local teams refuse to play them at this point.

They are not even the best team in their state. Your question should be most talented. The miami and lauderdale schools run this state

That Miami Northwestern team that had Jacoby Harris at QB was not bad either. They beat a good Southlake Carroll team that year.
If anybody from Houston remember the 1985 Jack Yates team...that team was loaded with talent.

That team was ridiculously talented. That game was probably the last time SMU's stadium was near full capacity.

I'm friends with the parents of Justin Henderson of Denham Springs. He's a sophomore at IMG this year.
The way they explained it to me was exactly as you say... A place where kids get professional training in their respective sports. If I remember correctly, it started as a tennis academy and expanded into what it is today.
You're also correct in that a number of the kids that attend IMG are there on some type of scholarship.
Also, from what I'm told, they have pretty strict academic standards. Students get all the help (tutoring) they need, but they don't just "get a free pass" because they're talented. I think something like 98% of graduates qualify for and attend college.

That's completely false. I went there from 2010-2011 and the academics were a big "selling point" to my parents but I literally never went to class and I still had good grades. Every athlete that goes to that school is basically given passing grades, they wouldn't consistently rake in $60k per kid that goes there to be an ATHLETE if they failed all of us in school.

I don't know anything about IMG first hand.
As I stated, I have a friend who's son attends IMG and I'm just passing along was I was told in reference to their academics.
I don't doubt that they just give athletes passing grades as you say, but if that is a common practice there, it's going to eventually catch up with them when none of their students are able to qualify for college.

If only Saivion and Rahshaun were brothers.

IMG is where the US men's U-17 team trains/schools. And for them at least, schooling is pretty minimal. It's mostly training.
