I just updated my Chrome browser and it came with an assload of malware. WTF?
Yeah. I suppose I clicked through a bit fast as I installed, by WTF Google? When did you become no better than some Russian porn site?

i've never had that happen or heard it happening so I am going to assume you got nuked from some other hiccup and not the chrome upgrade.

But, I got loaded up with Binkiland shite. Fortunately, it's gone.
Man, I wish I could find just one a-hole who creates that shite and get in a room alone with them.
Truth be told, I'm liking firefox better anyway.
I tried that Maxthon browser. It's probably good but not to my tastes

Chrome sucks because it saves any malware that gets installed to your profile and makes it difficult to permanently get rid of.

How did you "update" Chrome? I thought it updated on its own, and when there were changes the 3 lines to the right of the address bar turned red. Then, when you close Chrome and reopen it, it is now updated.

Yeah, you fell for a scam and installed malware. Most of those scams install extensions into Chrome.

I monitored the performance and it was actually cpu usage that was fluctuating like crazy. My home pc can handle it because it has a great cpu but my work computer chugs.

No, you didn't download Chrome from Google and it came with malware. Now, you may have downloaded it elsewhere from some ad-ridden site because you suck at the internet, but what you think happened did not happen.
