Its something that I try not to think about but sometimes you wonder.
What is your perspective on death?

I am terrified to die before my son reaches the age that he will remember me.

I don't look forward to it at all but I'm not afraid of it. I've got a different perspective today than the one I had not to long ago.

I'm more scared of my husband dying before we grow old together than I am of my own death.

I was totally content before I was born, so I'm sure I will be content after I die.

Yeah I feel like I am not afraid of death, but afraid oh how my family, especially my mom, and my friends would handle it. I don't want them hurting.

no more or less than any other human.

I want my death to be quick. Which probably means it will be slow & painful

If you answer all philosophical questions from the perspective of a dead person, you might as well kill yourself.

Why not jump out of a plane without a parachute? If you live, great, otherwise, hey you're dead anyway.

I used to answer this question like you, but now I realize how foolish and pointless it is.

Not of death itself, but of a painful death.

I've thought about it. I probably think about it more than I should.

Does it scare me? I'd like to say no, but of course it does.

It's human nature to fear the unknown.

Question: Is it possible to truly appreciate life if you have no understanding of death?

My favorite death story is the kid who just admitted he b.s.'d his entire book about how he went to heaven after he died and then came back.
I wonder if his parents helped write it.

I go back and forth between being comforted by the notion of oblivion and terrified of it.

Something seems wrong here.
