We still need a 2nd QB for 2016

Just about everyone agrees on that. Scarborough says Franks is an 'A' and we need another A or a B. Says Kelley is a 'C'.
I just don't see us getting another A quarterback. But if Kelley isn't a B then who is?

If they want one then they'll get one. At this point I don't see the need for one. Only scenario I see where one is necessary is if Jennings wins the starting job and Harris transfers. Think Jennings would stick around if he got beat out.
Haskins is the only offered one that is up there with Franks and somewhat an option. The Pass kid is going to Louisville and the others aren't QB offers. I'm guessing if they want another that a few offers will start going out here soon. The staff knowing that Patterson wasn't coming and only the offer to Haskins tells me they aren't overly anxious to add a 2nd just yet

Franks is the Gem of this class but depth always helps. I think haskins and toliver are cousins, it worked for spencer ware & george brown jr, maybe toliver can get him on board. Hes another PP QB definetly an A or B.

One thing Scarface said about Kelley was that he was too slow, like Mett, and that doesn't work well for LSU.

I think we just need a qb DT or pp that can complete at least 60% of his passes. The rest will be taken care of by a group of Beast the bayou will talk about for years too come!

Exactly about Haskins. Chances of him coming are about 1%. He wants to GI to Ohio St and its not a secret. Problem is they are higher on the kid from New Jersey(Can't spell his last name so I'm not gonna butcher it). The NJ kid was all set to commit but has since backed off because of the depth at OSU(no transfers, early pros and Torrance Gibson) and is looking like a Rutgers lean. Do they ramp up the push for Haskins? Aside from the OSU taking him angle is the competition angle. Haskins wants to be the man in his class(sound familiar?) and that's not gonna happen here with Franks. Like I said earlier, if Cam is really set on getting 2 then we will see more offers coming soon. If not then it likely means he isn't set on 2 but will take a 2nd if the right guy comes along.

I would love to have room for Bladrick Veal...
Dual sport athlete(legit bball recruit with offers from Baylor, Penn St, Washington) that played WR his freshman year and has been at QB for just 2 seasons and only started playing football in 8th grade. He's been to a good bit of LSU games and would like to play both. I'm fine with that.
He's a good QB prospect and has a lot of potential and ability. Very smooth and fluid as a QB. And even though he's really athletic and can run, he uses that to avoid the rush but still keeps his eyes downfield and trying to pass. He isn't a QB that just takes off running. He wants to throw it and even though he's considered a Dual QB, he "runs to throw" most of the time. And he's got a big arm.
He's got a lot of potential and could play both sports for us. I would like to offer him because I think he's a low risk / high reward type of offer. If not, I understand it. But I think he will just get better and better as he gains experience. Think he would be a nice QB2 for this class.

If Cam can find another QB that is williing to be part of a two QB class then I'm all for it.

Is that the kid from southern lab? Because he was awful in the state championship game against some sub par competition and very rarely threw the ball. He tucked and ran rather than looking down field. Very unimpressive. Looked like the second coming of JJ.....so he should be offered soon lol. I know it was only one game but he wasn't very good at all
