LSU could probably beat either Auburn or USCe and get past A&M, but I don't know about Kentucky.

hopefully we can get the 6 seed so we have a better chance to beat Kentucky. But it may not matter, we will have to beat Kentucky no matter what if want to win the SECt.

Can you imagine the number of UK fans there will be in Nashville?

if we are number 3 we don't need to worry about winning we are in the tourney.

but 6 sounds more realistic, and it's the question are you willing to be a lower seed to possibly go further in the tourney.

We control our own destiny for the #3 seed, we still play both of the teams ahead of us there, and I think we have the tiebreaker against both of them (assuming we win out). This is just showing where we'd be if the tournament started today.

Let's get that THREE seed!

TO get it, we must win all but one. I don't think that will happen, unfortunately.

Here's how I view it by season's end:

1. Kentucky (17-1): I have them losing in Athens in a game that will have an atmosphere like ours had with them

2. Arkansas (13-5)

3. Ole Miss (12-6)

4. LSU (11-7) {losses at Auburn and At Arkansas; win at A&M)

5. Georgia (11-7)

6. Texas A&M (10-8) {will lose 4 of last 6}

7. Tennessee (9-9)

8. Florida (8-10) {had tiebreaker win over Bama)

9. Alabama (8-10)

10. Vanderbilt (7-11) {will have tie-breaker if they beat State at home by 4 or more)

11. Miss State (7-11)

12. Auburn (7-11) {0-2 vs. Vandy and State)

13. South Carolina (5-13)

14. Missouri (1-15) {How embarrassing that their lone win was against us?)

So:

Game one - Auburn vs. South Carolina
Game two - Miss State vs. Missouri

Game three - Florida vs. Alabama
Game four - Georgia vs. Auburn
Game five - Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt
Game six - Texas A&M vs. Mississippi State

Game seven - Kentucky vs. Florida
Game eight - LSU vs. Georgia
Game nine - Arkansas vs. Tennessee
Game ten - Ole Miss vs. Texas A&M

game eleven - Kentucky vs. LSU
game twelve - Arkansas vs. Texas A&M

championship - Kentucky vs. Texas A&M

Kentucky wins.

NCAA seeds:
Kentucky (1)
Arkansas (4)
Texas A&M (6)
LSU (8)
Georgia (9)
Ole Miss (10)

NIT seeds:
Tennessee (2)
Alabama (4)
Vanderbilt (7)

No one matches up with Kentucky as well as LSU. Doubtful anyone else in the league beats them unless they just have horrible night. If they had played like they did earlier against A&M or Ole Miss LSU would have won by 10 points.

3 seed? You guys do know the two seed is still very much in play, right? LSU is only 2 games behind Ark with a chance to play and beat them in the reg season finale

Would it be better for us to be a 5 seed and win 2 in the tourney? Or are we better by being a 4 seed and winning 1?

I'd rather keep winning and end up wherever we end up. LSU has to lose some games to end up at 6. Which obviously we really can't afford to do.
