"Guitar shaped" Mansion near Highland Rd Park (Old BR spinoff)

Anyone here went to this place back in the day? I grew up on corner of Seigen and Highland, so it was just through the woods for me.
The rumor about it was that it was built for the bass player for Jimmy Hindrix. The guy went bankrupt before completion.
There were also rumors of devil worshippers, that's why it had all those Pagan graffiti and burn piles.

Is it still there? Looking on Google maps around Highland Rd Park but didn't see anything.

I grew up out that way too and have no idea what you're talking about.

Where exactly was the house. I always thought it was the tall octagon shaped house that was once overgrown and hidden from the road.

Thought it was just a guitar shaped pool.
One of the old BR threads someone said it was now gone.

We went there in high school trying to scare some girls. We told another friend so he hid close to the burned out house...it looked burned maybe it just wasn't finished. He came running out of the trees. Girl in our group wet herself. It was so damn funny.
But I heard it was Hendrix house
ETA: house is gone. Pretty sure there is a neighborhood there.

The house was owned by Joe Tex (Bang a Gong). It was shaped like a guitar. We called it the Glass Mansion. It was a great place to drink beer.
The house has been torn down, and has been replaced by a subdivision. Heading south on Highland Road, the drive way was 100 yards before the entrance to Highland Road Park.
Every teenage on the Southside of BR knew of the Glass Mansion back in the early to mid "80's.
Because of its delapitated condition, no one would have ever thought it was completed, but it had some furniture and a washer and dryer.

I don't know who owned it but I remember going in it and burning some fat ones.

Yeah I remember the house. The story that teens told was the it belonged to Jimi Hendrix. Which made the one less-stoned dude say "wtf would Jimi have a house in this shithole" and then somebody would throw a beer bottle at a road sign and turn up the Rush and we'd drive to a keg party ...

What is it with Devil Wershipers and their fascination with Highland Road Park? Is Satan a big fan of BREC or something?

There was so little out there back then, and it was really dark at night with a lack of the lights that follow development. Besides, there was a lot of fascination with that whole scene in the 80's, and every city had some place people claimed the worshipers met.

Some rubble and parts of it were left in the late 80s early 90s, long gone now though.

I remember him for "Ain't gonna bump no more with no big fat woman".
It's also Joe Tex playing in Reservoir Dogs when they are about to torture the cop.

In the US, "Ain't Gonna Bump No More" was received well upon its release in 1977, reaching #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #7 on the R&B charts.[2] Overseas, it was also a huge success in Europe, reaching #2 in the UK and #3 in Ireland.
Tex was later nominated for a Grammy Award for the song and performed the song at the ceremony in 1978.

Tex went on to have four million-selling hits, "Hold What You've Got" (1965), "Skinny Legs and All" (1967),[4] "I Gotcha" (1972),[5] and "Ain't Gonna Bump No More (With No Big Fat Woman)" (1977).
