Anyone heard of this?

Basically there's a sensor that you clip on to your clothes and you shoot at the sensor with a gun that uses infrared, so you can play lazer tag anywhere. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth, and your phone keeps track of the scores and can log them online. They're trying to make it an open source platform to attract people to make their own games for it. Seems like a really cool idea to me but I think it's still a couple years from living up to expectations

Do people still want to play laser tag? Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it back in the day, but I'm surprised people are still trying to make a go of it.

I just went to a local laser tag place up here 2 weeks ago with some of my college buddies... the place was packed, so I would say yes.

Heard about some kids coming up with this awhile back. Don't think it'll ever be reliable though.

Oh yeah, Laser Tag is still around, and still popular. I take my daughter there all the time, just so I can play and not look like a creeper.

I already have to deal with the stigma of being an adult gamer. I don't think running around the park waving wands at each other would help but I'd probably do it anyway. It looks pretty awesome.

It's all fun and games until the cops show up and kill a hipster carrying a concealed wand and blasts a hole in his dog for good measure.

I don't think doing stuff like that out in the public is the wisest thing these days. Keep it indoors.

Lies! He was a well-known Voldemort Sympathizer who had no issue with casting cruciatus curse on an innocent bystander. And his dog was a pitbull... I won't even mention his choice in wardrobe or candy.

As part of our semi annual sales meeting last summer we went to a place where we split into teams and bowled, raced go carts, and played laser tag. It was a blast and the place was busy even on a Wednesday night.

Yeah I got a little nervous in that video when they're running through the streets with their plastic guns. Probably not a great idea

def not worth a doing a backer/kickstarter for. i dont think it will be big enough to outsell the indoor availability now.

Looks like it won't happen anytime soon since their Kickstarter was cancelled with only $40,000 of $160,000 needed. It would be cool to see a project like this take place though. It's just a higher up front cost ($150 for 1 player) than going play at a laser tag place for $20
