I'm telling ya.. I can't believe he insisted on ordering them. I was like "You do realize we normally order them next door at Chimes for $5, right?"

Thank goodness they already had our tabs separated because he is famous for getting one check and us going 50/50, and I wasn't about to split that bill.

The burger is absolutely worth the money IMO. $11-$13 for a burger (I can't finish) and fries at that level of quality is fine for me. Though I do realize there are plenty of people out there not willing.

$9.50 for pickles is absurd.

Are the fries fresh cut?

If so, I could splurge on that from time to time.

The price you paid for the bottled beer, no way.

The joys of being petite. I'd probably eat the whole thing and be miserable.

They were made in house, thinly cut. Not the best fries I've ever had in my life, but pretty good.

The burger itself is worth the money for me. Fried egg, praline bacon, sharp cheddar, pork belly preserves, patty not over-seasoned and cooked to a juicy med-rare, and brioche bun.

I'm starving.

Heck ya, that's not just a burger!

You're such a little pussy. What is your deal with New Orleans and why are you such a baby back bitch every time New Orleans comes up?

That would be like saying that Galatoire's can't survive in the same neighborhood as Po'boy Express because they both serve seafood.

Has nothing to do with the quality of food, has everything to do with being right next to a COLLEGE. As LL has pointed out, it's not just a burger at that price point. It's something gourmet. But when most of your business should be coming from a college crowd, prices matter. Especially drink prices. They'll need to come down or offer specials that will keep the crowds coming back. They need to distinguish themselves from Tiger Land and make themselves more attractive then Chimes (which won't be easy once the newness wears off). I wish them the best of luck and will be visiting next time I come through BR. It's nice to see the North side of campus finally getting a little love.

I think they'll survive just fine, though.

Won't be via college kids, but then again, Chimes' business isn't primarily from them either.

I don't know how often I go. I'm not a fan of parking in that area and even less of a fan of leaving my car there overnight. Would only go if I Ubered.

It's called Barcadia. Not sure why people want to bring kids to bars.

Settle down cabbie.
Its simple, I figured if I could get a couple beers in 'em, they'd go down easier after thier bath

Ehh curbside cooks their burgers and fries the same way as five guys. Nick can just make em how you want it. I will say it took my friend over and hour to get his burger while my chicken was out in less than 10 minutes. I like the place, but my bill ended up being over $50. College kids aren't going to spend that kind of money.

Maven status = revoked

You'd give your kids that swill they have on tap? At least take them next door

Judging you, but what should I expect from an Ole Piss fan?

You realize the difference between Curbside burgers and crappy burgers is not the method of heat used, right?

It is the ingredients.

Somewhat true, but crappy preparation will affect the end result just as much.

I'm just saying the process is the same. They just have some diff toppings than other places around there. But the classic is the same as anywhere.

No.

I'm not even just talking about the toppings. The beef. The bun. The handling (aka the preparation that Yeezy mentioned).

They aren't the same.

If by process, you mean the item used to cook the meat (flattop), you can say the same for Flemings vs. McDonalds.
Now if we're talking about whether college students care, no they don't. They would much rather eat elsewhere for cheap. But there is a huge difference between the burger I had last night and a Five Guys burger.
