I actually think Chad was first. I really just use context clues when people use those words

Please keep the "Brahs" contained. They're like Chalmations with money.

has everything to do with being right next to a COLLEGE. As LL has pointed out, it's not just a burger at that price point. It's something gourmet. But when most of your business should be coming from a college crowd, prices matter. Especially drink prices. They'll need to come down or offer specials that will keep the crowds coming back

Have you seen what they charge for apartments around LSU now? Kids don't give a shite about prices because most of them get generous support from home.

Some do. Some don't. Just like since the beginning of time.

I would think that most lsu students couldn't frequent the place with those prices. Too many other cheaper options for food and drinks. $50 tabs add up quick

Ronnie was first, Chad came into popular use when The Krewe of Chad set up a Bedouin campground on Orleans Ave. about 2 weeks before Endymion and the Twitters got a hold of it.

So to recap: Ronnie is a generic cheese dick term that is used in a friendly, derisive way. You would describe a friend as a Ronnie who does something cheesy.

A Chad is more often used to describe someone you dont like or dont know.

Did they say when lunch service would start? I think someone mentioned they only had dinner food service for the time being.

Lunch service is supposed to start up Ash Wednesday.

Thank you, this was my point.

Not every student going to LSU is living off Daddy-bucks' credit card ringing up a $100 tab for him and his boys several nights a week. Some college students can't afford to eat out at $25 for a burger and beer.

I know lots of people whose parents paid the rent for them and they were on their own for food and expenses. Just because someone lives in an apartment bedroom for $900 a month doesn't mean they want to spend more on a burger and fries.

I remember "Chad" being used in Chicago about 10 years ago, so its been around for awhile. Pretty sure it originated or was made popular by the old Trixie website

Great, Thanks. I'll try to check them out before work one day later this week.

Ronnie has a Saints tattoo, used to hang out at Jimmies, drives a 97 firebird or camaro, wears white sunglasses, and does HVAC

Went tonight, 3 burgers a shrimp appetizer and 2 beers...$83

Soda refills are not free, shrimp was like the bang bang shrimp from Bonefish but 1/3 the size.

Burgers were ok, Masons Grill has better imo.
Beer selection was minimal

Total sausage fest with mostly neckbeards with ski hats on.

Brace yourself, no one speaks ill of Curbside on here and gets away unscathed.

Just left from there. Had the KGB burger, BBQ shrimp poboy, French dip, fried PB & J (king'd). The food and service were excellent. My only 2 gripes were: A) ($70 for 4 sandwiches + 1 Coke); and B) not much female "talent" -- mainly a bunch of chubbys.

I didn't care much for the games, either, mainly because they were mostly 90s games and I'm an 80s kid.
