Gonsulin is a talented kid I heard about, but really how many kickers and punters does Mile's need?? They all can't be on the field at the same time.

It's a walk on. Does it matter?

Pretty big sidelines. If a couple get hurt, u have someone capable. If not u simply wear out a little piece of grass on the sidelines.

Preferred walk on. Read the story! Besides, this kid is talented like I said. He'll be given a scholly soon.

I knew it was preferred....again it's a good deal for LSU to get a quality recruit for free....

Preferred walk on doesn't mean he will certainly be given a scholarship at any point. If it becomes clear he's not good enough to ever see the field, he'll leave the team like 500 walk on kickers before him. So I think Cadello pointing out that he's a walk on was a perfectly valid response to your post.

That's the case for most positions, but preferred walk-on kickers often earn scholarships and eventually contribute, Colby D came in as a preferred walk-on, just like Drew Alleman before him.

He'll be offered a scholly! Once again "the kid is talented" not your average damn walk on. I'm sure he has been offered by other schools, but wanted to go to LSU.

You made a stupid post and I called you on it.
No reason to get upset.
Or was it just a swipe at Miles?

Watched him a lot.

Kid has a huge leg and has made 55-60yarders in warm ups and practice. And made like a 50-52yarder in a game

Chris Sailor is like a kicker guru, like George Whitfield but for kickers , and he has Jack as the #2 kicker in the nation.

LINK

Luke Cranford, another preferred walk on Punter, won the Baton Rouge camp.

Seems like LSU has loaded up with punters and kickers the last 2 years. Reasonably low to zero risk with them being walk ons.

Wade Richey told me Sunday he thinks there could be another kicker added to the roster as a walk on, so should be interesting.
