Sri Lanka didn't give up though. Australia, New Zealand, India, Sri Lanka and even Pakistan are all capable of winning this thing. The parity is cricket is unprecedented. I love it.

India should go to 10 points here in a few hours.

Pakistan vs Ireland will be a big one this weekend and then it looks like Sri Lanka vs South Africa potentially, to start off the quarterfinals next week.

Seriously, they need to shorten the tournament and have more games on the same day. The ten people watching south Africa vs UAE agree.

McCullum's spectacular fielding effort

Not sure what McCullum was thinking there. Why put yourself in danger like that trying to save a couple of runs in an inconsequential game...especially when you are the captain and the best batsman in the team. He could learn a thing or two about not putting yourself in dangerous situations from NFL QBs. But it was an amazing effort nonetheless.

Could they really not find time to make up a rainout game? Bangladesh benefitted immensely.

I fell asleep watching that game.
Surely India won right??

Go up to go pee in the middle of the night and Scotland was batting against Australia, I'm gonna guess the Wallabies won?

Yes India and Australia ended up winning.

India vs Bangladesh and South Africa vs Sri Lanka are set.

West Indies should win today and then they would face New Zealand.

Winner of Pakistan/Ireland today will get Australia.

I'm hoping Pakistan Ireland is a good game tonight. India struggled yesterday but I guess there wasn't much to play for and Zimbabwe were very spirited with Taylor's retirement.

Yea hoping for a good PAK/IRE. This week there hasn't been as many good games.

Both might be through if there is bad weather at the Windies game.

Tournament needed to be a week shorter. They're trying to cover the larger markets (India, Australia) on the weekends but it's screwing up everyone else.

QF will be interesting. The elite teams look beatable and the like of Bangladesh and Pakistan are getting better. It's anybody's World Cup.
