It's happened a couple of times.I've heard not to answer it because somehow they hack into your personal info if you answer it.

I have no idea. It's just strange to get a call at home from yourself.

How do you know it's not you from the future with an important warning or some really valuable investment advice?

they can't "hack into your personal info" just because you answer the phone. All they are doing is spoofing the caller ID to show your #, more people answer that than a # they don't know. Anyone can make any # they want show up on any caller ID, there is even an app for it called spoofcard. You can even do it from their site, its fun!

I have my home phone in under my name. When I get called from it, it says I'm calling myself. Weirds me out but I'm too lazy to change it.

Had that call come in on my cell. Answered it and they were asking for my social. Figured it was just me in an alternate universe so no big deal

I stored my office number under my name in my contacts. Freaked me out the first time I got a call and my name and picture popped up.

I would love to hear your explanation on how someone can hack you because you answered a phone.

Yes it's happened to me several times recently while I'm not home but finally called one night so I answered. It was a recording of some credit card awesome rate. I hung up after a few seconds. They have not called since
