Now that Popeye's closed, what's your go-to MG stop?

What is everyone's game plan for chicken on the parade route. Popeye's and Mardi Gras go together like PB&J; I'm pretty upset that we'll either have to drive to the Wank or Earhart.

I think this topic umbrellas 2 topics, not just food, but moderators- move if you see fit.

I'll still get Popeye's for Mardi Gras day, but I never got it from the Magazine location anyway.

Wrong side = north side or lakeside. It was pretty nice having one on the riverside of da route.
