Anybody else get a harsh, almost burnt coffee taste on the Macciato?

I had to wash the taste of that Cranberry shite out of my mouth. This is a 2013 edition. Awwwww yeah. Thing that stands out initially is the sexy milk chocolate head. I love when the head really takes on the color of the beer. The color is black as tar, and it seems to have an almost similar viscosity. So incredibly thick. The nose has so much chocolate, bitter coffee, and just a hint of roastiness. With the flavor, the roasted malts just jump out at you, almost smoky. Almost a little fruit across the palate, but it's subtle. Some tobacco-esque flavors? Jesus. This is good. I'd love to see what happens with this in a straight barrel. Huna is amazing and one of the best beers I've had, but this shite right here is damn good. Excited to continue tasting as it warms.
