If you ever visit Side Porch Daquiris in Brusly notice the stripper poles.... I built that.... 304 Stainless pipe and raised face flanges. Took hours to get that stainless slick!!! JMCS probably knows all about them.....

I have pictures of some furniture that I made from ana-white.com that I would like to share but I don't know how to post photos that don't just show up as links.

Lol.

I've built all kinds of stuff. But matching ceiling columns in a plantation home from the late 1800 is up there with the neatest.

We did a nice pool deck on the north shore in the 70's, came out well. Other than that, probably the 20x20 addition to my home.

Oh and I completely refurbished and remodeled my Grandaddys 1972 skeeter bass boat. Including rebuilding the original 1971 3 cyl Chrysler 70hp outboard and the 1972 trolling motor.

I'll find pics later.

Built this last weekend. My garage is small so I wanted a workspace that could house my table saw, router table and other tools at the bottom.

Found the pics of the center console we built. Ran 72 with a 200 Merc. Was pretty wet though, hell of a wade fishing boat, easy to get in and out of.

In the mould

And a jet boat I restored between high school and college..

Maiden voyage

My dad and I built the pop-op blind on my boat from scratch with no real plans or specs. We bitched a lot at each other but at the end of the day it was pretty cool to see what we came up with.

Also, not me, but my dad used to carve ducks. Had an old friend that taught him the basics and he went from there. From cutting down the tree to the finished product. He was proud of them and came out good enough to sell for a while.

Furniture looks great man.

How much sanding was required to get that smooth of a finish? That's one thing im missing, i freaking HATE sanding.

Actually I think I kinda skimp on the sanding. I just use a finishing sander to take care of any noticeable rough spots and to "round" the outside edges of everything (just personal preference). Best part of it all is my wife likes to do the staining which is the part I like the least. I had honestly never tried to build anything until a couple years ago when my wife showed me the ana-white.com website. The coffee table was my first project. My finished work is definitely not perfect but its okay because this style of furniture is kinda "rustic" which means imperfections are okay.

It actually looks a little different now but the Hexacopter on the right is mine. The big Quad is a buddies. Built it myself and it has been a challenge
