They say you can't trust LSU now. And these guys are going to act all dumbfounded when LSU is suddenly 20-4 fresh off an upset of Kentucky.

Beating Kentucky wouldn't change the fact that you can't trust this LSU team

If we make it to the tourney, I don't see us going very far. We should've won that game last night by 10 imo.

The line was 5 so we surpassed what the expected outcome was. With this team's propensity to not give their best effort against teams they are supposed to beat, I think this was a great win, especially considering that Patterson was out who I think is a very important player to our team's success. Kudos to the BBall Tigers.

they have good points, but we are improving as the season goes on. We are still a bubble team and we could hurt ourselves, but I think we will only get better and probably do enough to make it to the big dance.

A "great" win? Really?

Against 1-6 South Carolina?

At home?

In a very close game?

Look, I'm happy we won, but if we're really a good team we should easily handle teams like this, especially at home. This was very far from a "great" win.

I hate when people come in here just spewing shite. Last night was a great win because it was a win. Kentucky beat them by 15, but that game was A LOT closer than the score indicated. Iowa State lost to South Carolina, and Iowa State is a top 15 team. They also beat Oklahoma State who has spent time in the top 25 this year. USCe is 1-6, but besides UK they can easily beat anybody in the entire league. And we took care of business and won

Gray's turnovers per time with the ball in his hands is better than Mickey and Martin

Fair, but he also handles the ball a lot more

That comment was pretty dumb imo. We arent far from being 13-7 either.

Hence the term "walking the tightrope". Fine line between 18-1 and 13-7 with this team.

College basketball is just so tough. I don't even try to understand it. You never know which version of your team will show up.
Look at scores from last night for example.

That's the same Tech team that BEAT #9 Iowa State and took LSU to OT.

That's the Miami squad who destroyed Duke AT Duke...then they got blown out by a 1-7 GT team...

1-6 TCU gives Kansas all they can handle!

A seemingly decent Oregon team gets manhandled by Arizona...

Also, is it just me or is nearly every SEC game extremely close?

Hey look, I love your optimism, but you're just nuts if you think a close win at home against South Carolina should be called a "great" win.

And, I'm sorry, but all "wins" are not "great." Maybe we just define that term differently.

Wow, I didn't realize we turned the ball over that much

I'll take our bad win over Iowa State's bad loss.

I posted that screenshot above to show how you can't take a single win for granted in college basketball. It's a crazy sport.

I'm nervous for every game because every game is crucial. Wednesday can be considered a "great" win because the stakes are ALWAYS that high from January onward. A loss would have been devastating.

The man at the bottom was smiling. He had just finished his breakfast. The man at the top was starving.

Imagine if these guys stayed all 4 years still..... LSU would be a beast of a team in a couple years If so. We coming along, and JJ is doing a fine job with these assistants. TOs are killing us..... If we can fix the TO issues we will be a dominate team!!!
