I guess the frustration from a lot of people is that we had two teams in Houston and Stony Brook on the ropes to move on to the next round and we choked both times.

Yeah, both of those sucked arse. There's no debating that.

This is a factual statement. Nothing wrong for standing up for your own.

Whatever. I like CPM.
He drops games late and games we should win, but that's baseball.
shite happens.
He also has taken us to Omaha 3 times and has a .700 win percentage at LSU.

Exactly. Remember when Bianco was on the "hot seat" at Ole Miss? He goes to Omaha one year and then he's a God. People are funny.

No, it's really not a factual statement in any way, shape or form, but I understand the point you are trying to make. You stated earlier that an objective discussion is difficult to have with this ill-defined group of people (posi-boxtards), but a truly "objective discussion" based on the OP would have gone something like this. "Should our baseball coach be on the hot seat?" "Based on his record, NO." /thread

I don't think he should be on the hot seat, but we definitely recruit better than we perform.

Also, we often recruit players who have no chance of seeing campus. They are ready to go directly to MLB.

He doesn't deserve to be on the hot seat, but any good will he earned from winning the NC in 2009 should be over by now.

I think the bottom line is, like others have said, its become harder to distance ourselves from the rest of the SEC. If you look at the last 5-6 years you could say we are 3rd or 4th best in the SEC alone much less nationally. If you look at CWS and Super appearances I believe Vandy, Florida, S.Carolina, maybe others have more in that span.
