I've only played about 30 minutes to get through the prologue and I rather enjoy it. Combat is weighty but manageable.

Does this game have full keyboard maping?

You can pick it up for $48 at GMG with code 20PERO-FFDIGI-GAMESX

Been playing for about 30 minutes and I am telling you that if you are like me and HATE jump puzzles then don't play this game.

This game is trying to marry parkore with dead Island, yet as a parkcore master step off a small roof and you take damage.

Thanks.

Here is where I am stuck right now and it will give you an idea of how "jump puzzle" this game is to this point. The other thing is they STRESS "aim for the point to you want to grab, I have tried that and come up short, I have had my hand pass right through the point I am trying to grab. Obviously I can be done but it has to be done perfectly. I loved Dead Island and was hoping for something better from this game so far.

Any idea if it supports SLI? I have two 980s, but I'm playing at 1440 so it'll be substantially more taxing.

about to torrent this game for a trial run because I don't think I'm going to like it. My only experience with dead island is playing riptide for an hour. Most of the game time was spent running errands and repairing fences, and so I stopped. I dislike jump puzzles, but I fricking hate chores, errands, and collecting.

Riptide was not made by the same devs as DI this one is, Riptide was a piece of shite. This game is not bad except for the jump puzzles so far, imo.

game seems very boring thus far. Missions are a series of fetch quests, and the zombies (and even human enemies) take about 1 million hits to actually kill. The constant fall damage is annoying, I'm currently on a mission where I have to clear the area of zombies only there are zombies that explode in one hit and I have no clue how to get a gun.

The game is a lot more playable in co-op. Just feels frustrating playing by yourself.

Usually if I need to clear an area, I throw firecrackers to get the zombies out then shut the gate. You can use the exploding propane tank trick to get rid of hordes or special zombies. Those exploding ones will eventually all blowup on their own. That's what I did...wait them out.Lol

Quick question since it was brought up. I'm thinking about building my first gaming PC. I already own a 1440 monitor so what would be the min required card to run it?

I've put some more time into this, similar to dead island - things get easier when you start crafting projectiles to take care of groups from a distance. The guys in hazmat suits and the exploders detonate if you get a hit on them with even a single throwing star.

ILike might respond quicker if you ask this question in the pinned PC thread.

For 1440P, the R9-290 would be minimum GPU, but I'd still recommend more. My advice is to wait a little longer and see what AMD's 380X brings, assuming you're prepared to spend that amount on a GPU. I'm guessing it'll be in the $500 range.
