What is a normal human being thing to say? "I'm good, you?"

That's about it. No one wants to hear about your problems. It's an empty, weird greeting.

How are you?

I can't complain, it wouldn't do any good if I did

I always answer questions with a lot of counter accusations. For instance, "How are you?" would elicit a response of, "Have you been drinking?"

How about reply like a normal human being, instead of being a little prick with a "clever" response?

cause being normal all the time is boring/uninteresting

I respond sometimes with "cold" if it's cold out, "sleepy" if it's in the morning ... whatever strikes me. I've even said "hungry" a few times in the late morning before lunch.

I've always liked to say "better than I deserve."

It either implies my life is great or I'm such a terrible person that things are crappy but it's still not as bad as it should be for me.

Tends to throw people off for a second.
