Thanks. I still have some regrets on things I said and did, but realize we are human and make mistakes. I never did it intentionally. Still hurts to think about those things.

Let go of the past, Weaver and cut yourself a break. The mark of the man you are is how you cared for your Mom and how you are caring for your Grandamaw.

weaver, remember that what you are dealing with is one of the most difficult things in life and that it is ok not to be perfect in this situation...

you simply have to get a little hard to it all and just kind of ride it out for your own sake...the last thing your grandma would want is for you not to take care of yourself (both physically and emotionally) through this...

Hang in there Weav..I lost my Mom in November. She was old and tired and in pain. She was ready for heaven and was at peace with her life. I learned that my heartbreak was my own selfishness, because I wont see her again until we sit at the Lords table together. Be close with her and make her as comfortable as possible. Your family is in my prayers. Peace brother.

I know deep down that is true. I am doing my best to take care of her and I. One thing I have forced myself to do is to not sit next to the bed and watch her. She knows and I know that when her last breath is taken that I don't want to be there for that. With my mom I would lay in the bed next to her and watch tv even though she was asleep due to the medication. I felt bad if I left and went and sat in the front of the house. I didn't want her to feel alone. In some ways I feel the same about my grandmother but I know I have to force myself to not be there constantly. I just hope one day I can be joined by all my loved ones in heaven.

Many people hold on because they feel like they need permission to die or are waiting to see one particular person.

Tell your mawmaw that your family will be ok. She did a great job, and you will see her again soon.

You're a great son and grandson. These are just words and only mean so much but hang in there. Shows your true character to be doing what you are doing. Wish there were more like you. God Bless.

Checked on my maw maw and she is still fighting. I hope when it is my time I can manage this much strength just like her and my mom did. Strong women.

My grandmother is slowly declining. If you could please continue to pray for her. Hoping she has no pain and dies peacefully. Thanks.
