Someone like dawg23 might be able to correct me but even if there is a sign they will only ask you to leave before pressing trespassing charges. Worth it in my book.

I'm pretty sure the entire Perkins Rowe has a "No Guns" policy

I carried in there last night. I didn't ask permission and no one said anything, of course no one saw it either. No chance I'm going anywhere in baton rouge without it.

That's why I like the enhanced carry permit.

Mississippi haas an enhanced carry permit. You attend an 8 hour class and can carry concealed in most places. Signs that say no firearms don't apply.

Even the 30.06 signs?

A regular permit gets you past all the others, correct?

i live in mississippi, this is kind of true. I have enhanced, i "can" carry in there but if my weapon is spotted somehow or im printing all they can do to me is ask me to leave. Nothing legal could happen, but if i refused then the worst i could get is trespassing. So they still have a right to keep me out, but my punishment isnt serious if im caught.

You may want to read the regs-

quote:

ote, concealed carry is legally allowed in “posted” locations not otherwise listed above with the enhanced concealed carry license (example: Malco, Buffalo Wild Wings). However, if you are observed carrying, in violation of the location’s policies and rules, you may be asked to leave and will likely be charged with trespassing per Section 97-17-97 which carries up to a $500 fine and up to six months in jail should you not leave when requested to do so. See this AG ruling on businesses and this AG ruling on college campuses. See also this confusing, but affirming, AG ruling on EC carry in/on Mississippi public schools. One should assume that the same caveat will apply to open carry situations as well (in un-posted locations where carry is not otherwise illegal).

It also doesn't apply to reciprocating states.

You would just be asked to remove the weapon from the property or leave (at most) if someone discovered you were carrying despite no weapons signage.

I'll wait for someone to post a link of someone actually being arrested.

this is correct, i said that in my post, and poster below me quoted the law. You would be asked to leave. Only thing they can get you for is trespassing if you want to be a dick and refuse. But im pretty sure it would be a big uproar at a movie theatre reguardless lol

In Louisiana you have to attend an 8 hour class to carry concealed, period. As in, "There's only one kind of conceal carry."

That's a school zone. Not exactly what I was talking about. Permit won't help you with a school zone.

Although in Louisiana having it in your car even in a shool zone is allowed, permit or not.

Unless you're a student.

And there is a law that says a principal can authorize anyone (in writing) to carry concealed on campus.

EDIT: Sorry, I hadn't opened the link and didn't realize it was a student he was speaking about.
