i don't like many female artists, generally, and especially not country, but Liz Longley is an amazing singer and songwriter--just pick a song.

More Americana/folk/whatever than countrypop cheese that passes for music these days, but def a Nashville/country flavor.

You should checkout Mindy Smith. Her Stupid Love album is fantastic
