I'm so glad that they are focusing on Archer and Lana missions, and less on the Pam, Cheryl/Carol, and Cyril stuff.
And next week we get a Barry (and hopefully other Barry) episode!

Amen. I guess they need stuff to fill out the episodes. But those parts lag and just aren't that funny/entertaining..

They work good as filler for sure, some of the stuff they do is hilarious. As star characters though they aren't close to Lana, Archer and even Ray. I love how Lana gets pissed at Archer for trying to get a hand job from the flight attendant in the last episode yet this episode she's all over the bearded dude who was from a country that was an Axis power

I thought Barry's episode was quite a nice touch. Hopefully he's not dead as he needs to be a running thing throughout the series. I also thought the shotgun moment was awesome.
But one question: Is Barry completely robotic? I thought he was essentially still part human with bionic stuff around him. Because if he's completely robotic that would mean the original Barry is dead.

I disagree. Remember, it was pure happenstance he saw them in Chicago, so his plan would have to change on the fly (i.e., be somewhat rushed). As for his fight with Archer, they have always been abbreviated because, despite his awesomeness, Archer is ONLY human and will only be able to take so much punishment from Barry. Someone, or something, has always intervened.

I think your are think way too much about it. It's a cartoon. He's now basically the Terminator, but he is also original Barry.
I liked the episode. I alway love the Barry (and other Barry) episodes. I also liked Pam in this one (which is a vast contrast from last season). I think her and Archer are good for one episode a season (any more and it because annoying).
