MSU and OSU and Iowa are pretty good, but outside of Maryland and Wisconsin, no team is worth much.

Pretty steep fall from last year.

No elite team. Everyone is beating up on each other. Illinois beats Maryland then loses to Indiana. Going to be one of those years.

Lol

Outside of D'Angelo Russell, Ohio State is awful. It's shame his only year in college is going to be ruined by this pathetic team.

The only two elite teams in the country, in my opinion, are Kentucky and Virginia.

Wisconsin is likely among those elite had Trae Jackson not injured himself in the Rutgers game (which was a complete anomaly). Wisconsin was already down arguably the best player in the country. To then lose your starting PG and shorten up an already thin guard rotation hurts.

Although I will say that the way Wisconsin came back against Nebraska and pummeled them was very impressive. It was hovering around a 20 point lead for much of the second half until Bo pulled his starters. Kaminsky, in his first game back, showed his worth.

Trae will be back before the BTT. Wisconsin will be a very dangerous team in March at full strength.

ETA: but, yes, the B1G is down.

pretty big understatement IMO.

watching the big 12 in basketball honestly feels like watching the sec in football.

watching the big ten in basketball feels exactly like watching the big ten in football.

The thing about OSU basketball is that you guys never go down without a fight. Indiana, iowa games for example. You made runs at the end of the games

God damn you are such a big 12 whore.

I thought Big Ten was going to be the premier conference again for basketball, but man was I wrong. Michigan is pathetic and Ohio State/Michigan State are a little less pathetic. Maryland has been the surprise of the year for me.

big 12 deep as frick.

Maryland is really good. Wisconsin is fricking elite. I have no clue who is going to finish like 3rd through 7th or whatever. I guess I'll take Iowa?

Damn Big XII is deep though. I'll give you that.

The scariest thing about Wisconsin is that Sam Dekker has been very very underwhelming so far. If he gets it going then they will be crazy good.

OSU is awful. We are young but I don't understand why Matta is sticking with Amir. Not being a cynic but he is seriously the worst big man I have seen in decades. Bill Robinson and Clarence McGee would run circles around this clown.

Their conference RPI is worse than the SEC's.

No surprise. B1G bball sucks this year. However, we did manage to win the ACC challenge. Thank you Iowa!

Iowa getting curb stomped by the badgers. The only three teams worth a damn in the big ten are the buckeyes, the badgers, and the terrapins..

The problem is Amir randomly shows flashes of what he can do when he wants to. The problem is that he does not want to. It's almost like he got forced into playing basketball. Hate the guy.

Only thing worse than that is our other big men. Trey Mcdonald, god bless his soul, plays his hardest and hustles, but he is not very good at basketball. Then the biggest disappointment being Anthony Lee being just nothing. He was almost averaging a double-double when he transferred and I thought he would do big things with our team... Instead he just looks undersized and outmatched with no skill around the basket.

Then Scott is doing nothing. He looked great on stretches where he was on the floor last year without Craft. I thought his difference to Craft was actually a huge fault in last years team, but he still has no jumper and forces thing. He can not be utilized to the best of his abilities when we play zone as well. Then Sam just has not progressed from being a role player.

This team is mediocre with so much underutilized talent with Loving and Russell. Russell I think is gone next year and our future is Tate and Kam Williams.

I'm sad.
